South America

When I first worked on this blog, only three Disney Animated features have been set in South America, Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, and The Emperor’s New Groove.  The first two are dated and none were very popular.  However, since then Encanto was released, and that movie could inspire an awesome dark ride similar to Mystic Manor in Hong Kong.

This area should also contain a major thrill ride, such as a plume ride, where visitors could start in an Inca village and travel down the Amazon.  This could be themed to Emperor's New Groove.

Another attraction could be a Rainforest themed play area, like the Redwood Creek area at California Adventure.  A large building, similar to the Mexico pavilion in Epcot or the Mermaid Lagoon in DisneySea, could also be located in South America.  The inside would be themed to a Brazilian village at night, with several flat rides themed to Carnivale.

Lastly, a train station could be located in South America, and "Southern Express" trains could run through Oceania to Africa, and back.  One half of the journey could feature views of the park, while the return trip could run along the very southern edge of the park, through dioramas and/or video projection rooms.
